There's a Type R for sale in the Honeydew area, it's Red and going for around R189900.00 but as always superrob was on the scene to have a look and let you know what I think if it's a bargain or not. Well firstly walking up to the car the front looks great but I noticed the foglamps seem to be coming loose by their glue which doesn't look right, next on the list there are a few horrible scratches on the drivers side near the door and inside the door arch by the bottom, next on the list I noticed the left rear mag has horrible pavement scrapes on it, there is also a small dent on the left rear panel, a wall scrape on the left mirror. On inspection inside the car there are cigarette burns in the rear seats and mats, there is wear on the gear lever boot, nothing else wrong in the car. Opening the bonnet it appears there's nothing wrong although there are some scratches on the red tappet cover on the left if you're looking into the engine bay. The car sounds 100% with the usual Type R noises happening and no error codes inside. I have to say I also noticed it's on 97600kms which I must means the pricing for all these faults is very very high. I'd say it's only worth 140k because I've seen one going for 145k with less issues then this one.

Yip the car standing in Honeydew in shocking condition is a FN2 and the written off one was a FN2. The only EK9 Type R I've once been able to buy here, the guy wanted R140000.00 for and I turned him down because it was pretty badly treated in it's life from the looks of it.
