Well interesting info I heard from a connection in Japan, they seem to think each of my wheels weighs in at around just 7.5kgs each or so.... which is interesting cause Lenso D1R wheels weigh 7.9kgs each and they advertise in SA as been one of the lightest racing wheels around? So for JDM monkey my question would be do I refurb my rims and try slap some larger takkies on them like 225 or larger if I can? Also what price do mags like mine go for these days? I love white mags cause it's like my statement on the racing scene a matte black car with white wheels and if I'm to keep these rims I'm thinking of getting their colour changed to bright white like the pure bright white before any toners are added like when you need sunglasses to see my wheels lol. Also heard that my mags were made with what is called cavity core technology meaning the spokes are hollow.

A bit more boring info Advan is owned by Yokohama tyres which pretty much started Advan to make wheels to match their advanced tyres.

This is pretty much the same as mine but mine were made to have centre caps cover the 5 nut holes but thank goodness for our wonderful shipping yard people in Durbs seem to have borrowed my centre caps, I know that they'll return them one day lol but I like the look of the 5 nuts showing I just need to get the edge flowed to make it look like it didn't come with centre caps like most of the other model 6 series.

The weight sounds about right, very popular rim on guys owning Skylines too. Yours do look a bit different the the model 6's I know, the 5 wheel stud holes are usually a lot more recessed into the outer hub (Just looked at your first post, those are the ones).

Before deciding anything, actually weigh yours :-)

In terms of being one of the lightest, you do get much light, 57c's for example. The lightest I know of however is the KAD F1's - Forged Magnesium - 2.1kg without the rubber.

They look like this:

Apparently Lenso VPD wheels weigh just 4.5kgs each. The new D01 Lenso's are apparently the newer version of the D1R's and they come in narrows and wides and are 6.9kgs each so they reduced their weight and they have stickers on one of the spokes saying project D how cool is that just like the newer initial D series name
