I felt I should start this topic because there are bad services out there that people want to complain about, so I feel if the people vent their anger here and we possibly try give them advice it'll be handled as best as it can.

I'll start, my car has been at a painter for nearly 4 months after he promised me initially 4 weeks. As you all know by a miracle my car eventually reached my tuner again to be fully reborn but the painter still hasn't finished all the detailing and touch ups on my car, he also still has a few of my interior cover panels and has messed up a few spots on the paint work. I have paid him in full but he keeps feeding me all kinds of excuses why he can't go to my tuner and finish off because he says the touch ups will take him less then two days. But he keeps on and on with excuses and I'm a very nice guy so I'm trying to give him chances. What can I do if he keeps on because my car is almost finished at my tuner. Can I get the painter to refund me for his bad service or something like that? If so I can then either pay another painter to finish the job or have the car covered in a 7 year protection guaranteed vinyl in Matt black which was the paint job I initially wanted that my painter screwed up. He's based in PTA so it's not like I can drive to him everyday because it's like R200.00 petrol a time from where I am.

Is he insurance approved? If so report him. If he isn't there are two more options, walk away and find a better guy or litigation.
