We all know the import legislation and although private collectors may import (for now) some vehicles from the land of the rising sun - not too many have the finances to see the deal through.

With finance out the window, what would you rather be driving and please limit it to one choice - we all have our perfect garage - I'll start:

If we had them here, a nice Spec-R Silvia (RPS15). It's very similar to the BB6 in many aspects but my reasoning is two fold. The SR20DET motor is widely supported aftermarket wise but above all things, it's rear wheel driven out of the box - it's graced the SLGP and D1GP plenty of times as you'll know - I just feel its a perfect all round vehicle. It's refined yet an air of aggression.

Amen brother Cool Saleen Mustang, great choice actually. FT-86, yeah I agree - R35 looks like a german puppy beside it. The FT is more Doberman, ears cropped.

.Honda Civic Type R EK9

You know what seen I've got my RX7 already. Out of those 4 cars I'd have to say I'd want a Honda Civic EK9 Type R because it's a car in it's pure form, a well built motor which is a great base for modding, a great handling package as is which can only be improved on..... I'd choose it because it'd get me back towards my true driving styles and techniques I taught myself when I used to have my GTi mk1. My RX7 is also an amazing machine but there is nothing to strip back on the type R it's in it's purest form if you understand where with my RX7 if you strip it to it's purest form you lose the clever turbos and have a rotary base in NA form is a different monster all together but then in NA form the RX7 wouldn't be a car to justify it's large thirst for Petrol because without the turbos it seems to be a motor lacking where the EK9 seems to be at the pinnacle of cutting edge NA power. Awe man now you guys made me a bit sad that I haven't got a Type R and RX7 Sad
