What a winning event guys.... we're all petrolheads here and the amount of winning factors were the fact that there were so many awesome cars there, so many nice people, such fun events even be it that some seemed to clash with stock cars against fully modded cars lol but what a load of fun including the stand that jdmmonkey had setup there we had such a load of fun taking part in events and much much more. We seriously need to organize more hookups hey Grin

Hey guys! What a bloody awesome event  Cool

I'll definitely share the one or two pics I have from the day (couldn't take many and mostly from the stand anyway). I think between the four of us - the entertainment factor was off the chart - we're not well hey? Kidding.

Great turn out, great cars, great people and great JDM beasts - both of you! Wayne is right, his will come out to play soon and then theirs my plans coming together. I've also decided on my own import - so saving will begin after the projects are completed for the company demo vehicles. Priorities first.

Last but not least! Thank you to all of you - for the helping hand at the stand - beyond call of duty! Arigatto (bow)

PS: Thanks for the ride in RX-7 Rob! Much appreciated and enjoyed the experience.

I have to make them smaller first.

I'll do it tomorrow morning and post them.

Who is up for Street to strip tonight?

Time Trial results:

SuperRob No 11 - Mazda RX-7 FD3S | 3:24.72
VegetaSSJ4 No 12 - Nissan Skyline R33 | 3:29.24

Philip I can see you were battling with understeer (lock that rear up already!)
Rob, you suffered from the classic - I need to drive my car harder - problem. You'll improve the more you test the limits of the vehicle.

Woo hoo I was only 4 seconds off been in a prize winning position for my class yay me Tongue. Oh and note some of the cars lie about what they were, the S2000 you see was apparently supercharged not to mention the toyota tazz had a hot 4age engine.... so all in all I need to improve by 18 seconds but those two scoobies up top were really powerful but the quickest stock engined car up on that list says ruan but his name is ryan I'm sure lol, he can race that little vtec hey.

holy crud, I just looked at the time sheet and some little suzuki swift beat me by like 0.8 something seconds, that's just not right.... if I'd known I was that close I would've floored one straight extra and wiped that smudge off the time sheet lol Grin

Oh my goodness what little liars lol, was reading on the Civic Type R forum and most of the guys with the Civic Type Rs were like oh my car is stock bla bla bla and I was like cool it sounds nice and seems to run really well and I wouldn't mind buying one as a everyday run around but then I read on the Civic Type R forum that a majority of them as far as it goes basically have induction, exhaust and hondata software which is said to greatly improve their performance, oh the sadness Cry

Was looking at the time sheets again, you know for my first real track run I was 8 seconds off the quickest rear wheel drive of the day and I was only 12 seconds off 3rd quickest overall. I love conditions where there is a car infront of me on a track because I'm the type of driver that learns the lines of the racetrack quicker that way, I prefer to chase instead of follow it allows me to gauge how quick I really am going too and a number of other factors but at time trials it's pretty much suck your thumb and hope the lines you've chosen are quickest
