Fantastic, he must come on and post about it. MPS is a great chassis with plenty of modification potential even in stock form.

well yeah, dont really wana mess around too much while under warranty

although I do want to do the following
smash and grab tint (it has clear smash and grab, who does that??!?)
add a sub and amp, the bose sub doesnt cut it
possibly do a short ram intake
remotely possibly do some software
and even more remotely possibly do a decat/ downpipe

but we'll see as time goes by

Your car Wink personally, I'm over the sound era. I enjoyed it and can still enjoy a good SQ setup but I'm over packed trunks.

If you do go for it get a decent guard over those subs (custom or whatever). Don't want the monthly groceries to poke a hole through the sub Cheesy (happened, been there done that)

I'm purely into speed and handling so the weight of the sound doesn't float my boat and the idea of no packing space if needed and rattling all of the car to pieces. I prefer if needed a perfect sound quality and clarity when playing it loudly. I wish to save every ounce of weight it really does make a difference. I proved this to a friend running a VTEC many years ago when I used to own a mk1 Golf GTi.

Rich, Swich was mentioning you were looking for some good rotors and pad combo from PowerBrake. We are authorised to facilitate the sales of this brand, please check http://store.toyamaracingspirit.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_36_153&products_id=350 when you get a moment.

I think you'll find we're much cheaper than what you were being quoted.

Cool, Mintex is instock, CC-A and GT1 compound with that rotor combo isn't - if you want to score on special you can always pre-order - waiting time 3-4 weeks according to PB (for the two out of stock). Cheers.

thanks mate.

Can you email me pricing on the pads alone?

Mintex Front & rear
Endless Front
Powerbrake Front & rear
Hawk HP+ front & rear?

might be using my stock rotors

Thanks

Endless, and GT1 will chow your oem rotors (that specific rotor). Hawk HP will be harsh but Mintex should be your safest bet. Won't recommend the others for OEM rotor - not designed for the friction or heat coefficient.

You happy with just a Mintex quote then?

Hi Rich, got mail but will respond ASAP, in terms of that combo, that's fronts only, for rears I can only do Mintex. I'll definitely get back to you on reasons for the choices and when / why not to go for combo's in mail.
