Well I'd have to say when you drive a car hard, you feel every ounce of weight not just in acceleration but in cornering and braking too. The only time it ever became tricky having a lightened car was when I lightened my MK1 GTi for a while in the wet the car really struggled to get traction and road hold down been too light. I will aim to get the weight far lower then just 25kgs off, I'm more considering seen if I can lower her into less then the 1 ton range or lower

That means you have to find 352kg + your body weight to keep the entire package under 1 ton.

You're in for a lot of money. Most of the panels have to be replaced, the sound deadening from factory will not nett you more than 50kg and you're going to have to start thinking of a race tank with smaller capacity.

907kg end weight (1 short ton) is a tall order! If you're refering to a metric ton, you are still in for trying to save 260kg + your body weight... still a huge number to save.
