He just got his car back today from Nxgen today and it's claimed to be making 170 wkws at only 0.6 bar boost, how hectic is that for a 2 litre SX engine. He needs to get a better actuator apparently then they'll set it up for a 1 bar boost setup and apparently that'll be 200 wkws. I'm happy for him and tomorrow he fits his new mags and his new bucket seats lucky bugger lol. Tongue

Random update lol. My cousin was getting amped to have a friendly run against me when my car returns but alas, the Nxgen tune he received somehow, the turbo sounds like it's a food blender right now and it's puffing like a magic dragon plumes of white smoke from the rear. He's getting hold of Nxgen immediatly to get them to sort out whatever they screwed up as it was not a cheap tune for his 200sx. Think it was a light tune for like 60k or something due to parts he added. I'll keep you all updated and I'll get him to post pics.

Okay so the car isn't as blown up as my cousin thought lol. Nxgen towed the car back to them, they figured out that the turbo is the only thing that gave way after their work. They're not prepared to cover the charges to repair but are giving him slightly better prices to try accomodate him, the story as I have it, they're now fitting a slightly larger turbo that's apparently rated at 400hp but they are going to only push his car to 220 wkws this time even with the bigger turbo and he's paying for 4 550cc injectors to help up his power to that. I'm waiting to see this because there's a SX running a skyline motor that's only making 260 wkws and he's got quite a number of mods.

Glad it wasn't the end of that motor. 220 wheel kw with the right tune. Doable. Can't wait to hear the results. Hey Rob, can you sort out a video some time?

Lol my cuz ended up getting his car back before me which is good news for him, the bad news is it's only making 208 wkws of power which was a let down to hear but that's still strong don't get me wrong his S14 isn't a car to underestimate. Will try get pics to post soon, it still looks stock standard except for wheels and he said he was going to fit semi bucket seats.

Still waiting to get a chance to get pics and post them up but for now a quick update on my cousins cars potential, he ran into a Nissan Skyline GTR R35 today the newest one.... they had a friendly run at a private airfield rolling from 80 and backing off at 180 and the results were astonishing for a 208 wkw SX, he only lost by 1 car length to the Skyline. Well done to the tuners of his Nissan.

No weight reduction at all yet, told him to consider it. He doesn't want to do too much to the body not to attract the cops to his car because they love pulling over good looking cars these days the twats.

Well it depends on dicipline, if he strips the interior too much he'll bump class in the quarter. Very impressive for a stock weighted sx.

Side note: Your cousin should be aiming for a low 13 / high 12. With near perfect conditions, track dependant, tires and gearing dependant (has everything to do with getting the power to the ground at the right time) - he could run around 12.8s @ +- 171 kph.

It's a good goal to start chasing with his current setup.
