You most likely got some soap on the pulley system etc., if it hasn't calmed down on the screech by tonight, park it under good light and take a look at where the sound is coming from (assume you can hear the sound at idle)

Thanks a lot guys... @wayne.. You should hit me up with ur contact details, we'l meet up @ japfest.. @monkey, just been to a mech (being the paranoid type) He said its probably the belt that was wet, and now completely dry, so its squeaking, He sprayed some Q20 on the pullys, Still Makes the same noise. he then looked a the bottome belt, and he noticed, there's a slight, sorta buckle on it, so the belt shudders a little. (Very Little) He then says to me that he thinks my "camshaft Gear" needs to be Replaced, and i should limit my driving, and bring the car through on MOnday... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ Wayne.. It was the bottom Main Pulley, and thanks for all the trouble, the pics were good enough Smiley btw, on a positive note, my car underwent a full light change, from xenons, park lights, to those in door ones, rocking all new smd bulbs, Installed last night, Cops pulled me over already for the licence plate light, Said it was too bright, or blue, lol... Had to tell them they stock from a one series bmw (Blame the Germans), so he could leave me alone Tongue, But il post picks of the new lights, the xenons were a gift from my girlfriend (Yes I trained her well) Cheesy

Crank pulley? It is possible a stock hit it really hard at speed after you washed the car and all of this is mear coincidence.

Something doesn't sound right - for one, don't spray Q20 or any other lubricant on a belt. Oil eats rubber - not wise and as far as I remember Q20 is oil based. Could be wrong - so watch out for stuff like that.

Could you post a pic?

ok guys heres the pics... I went back to the car wash, speaking to the owner, he said that its very normal for a car to do that after an engine wash, he said to give it a few days before doing anything.

Gearbox leaking someplace, not sure fromt he pics. Do yourself a favour and clean properly around that area and drive for a day or two, re-check then let us know where the oil is coming out from.

In terms of your pulley. You've highlighted the crank pulley. Along with the two camgears, the other most important pulley on the vehicle. You should check your crank shaft bolt that secures that pulley.

99.99% of the time it's a warning sign that it's about to snap. This happened to me a year back.

If you find that the vibration is coming from a place higher than the pulley, you're most likely sitting with a tensioner (they're automatic adjusting in OEM trim) that should be replaced.

Either of these are a big problem if they jam, snap etc. Do yourself a favour, contact Anthony. Tell him Toyama Racing Spirit sent you, 082 seven seven six 51 three three.
