Bore: 87mm
Stroke: 90.70mm
Cyl. Volume: 539.18cc
Total Volume: 2156.73cc

Cylinder Head:

2 Valves per port, 4 Valves per cyl.
Intake valve diameter: +- 32.71mm
Exhaust valve diameter: +- 27.32mm
Intake Valve Flow @ 1.52 mm: +- 36 cfm

Induction System:

Estimated induction flow rate is around 400cfm @ 1.50 inHg
Manifold type: not too sure what to call it? Dual stage runner type?

Camshaft Specifications: (This wont make sense to you if you dont understand camshaft theory)

NOTE: 0 deg advance/retard

Intake Lift at valve: 16.66mm
Exhaust Lift at valve: 16.26mm
Lifter Type: Roller Hydrolic?
Ramp Rate: 4.3
Seat-to-Seat IVO: 43

If anyone gets cam gears before me, I want you to try adjusting cam timing for oem cams as follows, I predict the results:

-1 deg = slight bump in power peak, loss in torque (slight)
+3 deg = Middle gain, bump up torque and power through out range, don't affect peak power.
+4 deg = Zero peak gain (Actually just over 1.5kW loss), slight power gain through rpm ranges, great improvement of peak torque.

I prefer option two.  Cool

Don't let the IN 298 / EX 308 confuse. That is advertised duration at .010" on the VTEC lobe (the most aggressive.

If you want to compare the VTEC lobe to another stock non vtec camshaft (to say it's pretty decent / aggressive stock) you're looking for the middle lobe at around .050"

This is:

IN 231 / EX 234.

Which is pretty stock as far as camshafts go, for example my Mazda FE5A cams, stock cams with a duration of 245 IN / EX - which is fairly aggressive for stock

If you're looking for a nice street cam for the H22A motor, look at durations IN 255 / EX 248

SIDE NOTE: Type S cams actually have less overall advertised duration at .050" but outperform the stock camshafts due to their increased lift (necessitating a valvetrain upgrade).
