Gearbox swap is coming together. Locating:

* Gear shift assembly / center console
* Gearbox mounting
* Gearbox itself is sorted, just need to pay for it.
* Manual cluster but not required just yet

Eish!! Thats why I bought the bakkie, for very reasons like this. Preludes are accident and scratch prone. It's like a magnet to attract all these sort of things...

Was a mostly stock f22 (CRD exhaust and Dastek) with some decent sound when I bought it, had JDM fit a Dicktator and bought some 17" TSW Apex's for it .. then offered as a trade in when Jimmy's EG came up for sale .. lol , probably had it for 8 months ,
photos ,  have to scratch for those , I think it may still be available , Jimmy was trying to sell it when he went back to Taiwan

Time to let the cat out the bag M2A4 - JDM 4G - 3.307 - 1.950 - 1.360 - 1.071 - 0.787 - 4.266

Comparing it to the box I have on record for VTi-R's in Australia and sure its the same here, it is:

M2V5 - 3.285 - 1.950 - 1.344 - 1.071 - 0.870 - 4.062
M2A4 - 3.307 - 1.950 - 1.360 - 1.071 - 0.787 - 4.266 1, 3 are shorter with an overall shorter FD

Perfect.

Some items still to be bought, some seals (need to look at parts catalog to find which), transmission bracket and half-shaft need to be found/bought. Cotter pins etc. should be on order fairly soon - and I need to locate the 5spd starter I had first pick on last week.

Thanks mate. Starter that I need is in PTA so as soon as I have that in my possession the parts collection is officially over, so weekend of the 8th we'll do it. Start the Friday and end when we end Smiley we're a decent size team so it won't be too much hassle.

Finally getting some of the damage seen to, can't say whether I am excited or worried to see the results but lets see how it goes first :-)

Dropped the Prelude off early morning Saturday in the Prim, got a lift back with Jax, thanks mate.

Right so getting the following done:

- Front bumper repair and respray
- Rear bumper repair and respray
- Right side dent repair and respray / blend
- Bonnet dent repair and full respray
- Oem right and left side skirt repray + repair (plastic repair)
- Oem rear lip respray
- Front P1 abs plastic lip with custom work + respray
- Lip fitment
- PRELUDE emblem removal
- VTiR emblem removal
- Full polish after respray

Let's hope for the best, she should be done within a week or two.

Sprayer? Based out in Primrose, does insurance claims mostely but this is done as a favour for me (doesn't normally take on big jobs)
