Welcome to the forums Henk! Looking good so far, although you're modifying the lude asthetically you're keeping it clean.

Just don't build a bat mobile...

In terms of boost, what pressures you thinking of running and hopefully not on stock sleeves ;-)

Definitely going with Darton sleeves as I'm not quite sold on the Mahle gold series pistons

Not sure about the pressures yet. Have been looking at the Rotrex chargers as I am looking for immediate response more than top end power and the Rotrex seems like a better option than a JRSC

Rotrex all the way, plantery gear system provides quick response lower down with a lot of flow higher up.

In terms of the Mahle vs Darton - mutualy exclusive. Even if you went for the gold series pistons you'd still have the trouble of boost limitation on the build. The A1 block isn't a bad block to start with but I personally wouldn't boost more than .7 bar on stock sleeves as a daily.

There seems to be a 6 month expiry on them ;-)

Invest in a good set of sleeves, which means you won't need to worry about the FRM walls to begin with. You'll need to find some good pistons too (can advise) because most off the shelf forged items are happy clappy when you start up in the mornings.

I hate the noise from those.

Good mix of 'flake' in the paint. Looks great! You using pancake subs or 12's? Box should work fine from pics. What brand of woofer and what you're planning on driving them with?

Either/or -or- both? Honestly unless you're chasing SPL titles and okay with all that hard work getting rattled loose, maybe stick to the 10's. The 10's will also give a quicker punchier bass but then again also depending on the music you listen to and the quality of those woofers.

I see where you going with the setup now. This way for music requiring quicker punchier bass (dance music for example) you won't have beats falling over one another because the sub can't keep up (esp 12" + once more depending on quality).

Would like to hear it personally when you done, next time i'm down your side I'll let you know.

Lines are looking great, the bumble bee look is working so far :-) Paint finish under the flourescent lighting seems to display a little orange peel on the black - nothing too noticable in day to day light.
