Bringing true JDM flavour to our forums, that EG4 is the real deal. Doesn't it have Japanese writing all over it?

Take care mate!

Oh yes, if you are looking for a Gotech Standalone unit, I have a fully functional as new, Version 6.0 standard version available. Contact me, its going for R1,500.00neg. just need to order a new wiring harness from gotech which isn't too much as I used the original in my own car.

Benefits vs. Stock ecu? Slight tweaking on stock motor, better off with this than a unichip if you are planning future modifications like wilder cams or turbo.

Chat soon.

Damn it's been a while hey!
Well I fitted a Perfect Power XMS into the red car but wasn't to happy with the lack of functions so I fitted a Dictator 60-2 with coilpacks and removed the dizzy.
I will NEVER fit a local management system to one of my cars ever again, just a bad experience with no gains over stock ECU with Piggyback as it came with it's own set of problems and issues!
Since then I have sold the red car and bought a 1991 Civic, this is the link to the build thread for the car -> http://www.rawkus.co.za/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=363

Oh yes Ijin dude I still haven't got the car driving thats why i haven't got back to you about the ECU

Damn it's been a while since I've been on this board.
I've since sold the Red EK to a friend who sprayed it yellow, it was again featured in Speed and Sound a few months back.

The EG has gone through some major changes with a engine swap, color change and new wheels and other various bits and pieces.

And I replaced the EK with a JDM Subaru IMpreza STI 6 Type-R
Only 1000 of these cars were made

Wade, you Cape Town boys know how to style my friend. Keep up the good work - you're keeping the essence of JDM alive down there!

PS: You need to tell the guys about your STI 6 in the scooby space here, that's super rare and sure guys will appreciate.
