Look, in the beginning this looked like just another attempt from an auto manufacturer trying to push hybrid design upon us. It's far from the truth of what unfolded with the FT-86 - isn't it.

I mean this is the sort of car new age enthusiasts are looking for in reality, the computer controls are limited to only the items that require it (exactly the opposite of R35) and the idea that modifications (further) were built into the plan from Toyota means the engineers left some play room and adaptability in areas that are already at their limits.

Honestly, the comment about a rookie driver becoming a pro when stepping into an R35 is true, the car does all the work for you.

A real driver wants to battle a bit (to a point) so that in the end that super fast lap time you just set, is all you and only you.

Great car, I think it's a candidate going into the future - wouldn't mind seeing it in the garage each morning.
