With the market acceptance of the GT-86 Toyota is looking to re-kindle the Supra legend in the form of a 3.5-liter V-6 hybrid setup aiming at the 400 hp mark (similar to many other manufacturer targets).

If all continues to go well for the GT-86 we could see a new Supra being developed for release 2014/2015. There is rumour that it will borrow a lot of it's styling from the FT-HS Concept pictured below. What do you think of it?

What's that now - the 4th or 5th manufacturer - the Lexus prototype is hybrid system, the new EVO is rumoured to be coming to market with this option, the new NSX and now this.

All of them powered with a electric front and engine rear. All aiming for approx 400hp? Wonder who the manufacturer behind the scenes is coining it on the hybrid bandwagon.

Not a fan of this new styling to be honest. Bring back 95 - 01!
